“This anecdote is getting a little stale, as I recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of my closing, but as I’ve told several friends, buying my new home was easier than getting into a new car. The Mazda took over four hours of standing around the showroom, even though I went in knowing what I wanted and ready to purchase. The salespeople insisted on their full script of BS which soured what should have been a fun day.
Buying the condo couldn’t have been more different, and I owe a lot of that to Eric. As a first-time buyer I knew little about the process, but Eric patiently steered me through every step. From establishing a good rapport with the seller’s agent, to connecting me with a reputable mortgage lender, to guiding me through the negotiation and closing, Eric capably managed the entire process.
Yes, there was paperwork, but even that was more straightforward than I anticipated. The whole thing went so smoothly it was just a few weeks between the first open house and having the new keys in hand. The experience really was all positive.
Lastly, and I debated adding this for fear of sounding biased, Eric is a friend (you’ll have to trust that I’m not the type to hand out unearned praise—the Mazda dealer pushed for positive feedback and got none...) The reason Eric is a friend is because he’s good people, and that shows in his work. He won’t push people into deals that aren’t right for them even though there’s always a financial motive to do so. Eric provided me with the guidance I needed, but also respected my decisions, and helped me end up in the right home for me. Best of all, he made it fun.”
